Overview
RUMC is seeking a dedicated Family Peer Advocate (FPA) to join our Perinatal & Early Childhood Mental Health program (P+ECMH).
The Family Peer Advocate will draw on their lived experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a child with serious emotional and/or behavioral challenges to provide support, advocacy, and education to families. This role is essential to promoting family empowerment, engagement, and resiliency.

Qualifications
- Family Peer Advocate (FPA) credential required
- Must be the parent or primary caregiver of a child with serious emotional/behavioral challenges
- Experience navigating mental health and related child-serving systems required
- Previous experience in parent or group facilitation, advocacy, or community organization preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse families
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills helpful
